Clay joined Sand & Sebolt in 2002. Prior to joining Sand & Sebolt, Clay worked as a general civil litigation practitioner and served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer.

Clay specializes in working closely with our clients who wish to patent mechanical inventions. Advising, monitoring and meeting with clients and engineers to review their ideas, inventions and/or improvements to aid in the best approach in pursuing and prosecuting their patents.

Clay’s ability to recognize our client’s range of business opportunities creates the upper hand in researching prior art and investigation into the patentability of a product.
