Founder of Sand & Sebolt, Mike has practiced intellectual property law for more than 35 years. Mike is experienced in all areas of patent and trademark application preparation and prosecution, licensing and protection of trade secrets. He has extensive experience filing and prosecuting applications for both national and international clients in the electrical utility, machine tool, tire and rubber industries.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Ohio University. After working as an engineer, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is license to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mike is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Eta Kappa Nu, the Stark County and Ohio State Bar Associations, and the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association. Mike is past chairman of the Patent, Copyright and Trademark Section of the Ohio State Bar Association.
